The cottage is warm, clean and very comfortable. It is tastefully decorated and furnished, and the kitchen has everything one would need, to accommodate 6 people. The views of the surrounding countryside are stunning , and the location is peaceful and very quiet. All in all an excellent place to relax and recharge!
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful spot by the Tweed. Walking and cycling galore. Hirsel Park a must. Go to Norham Castle. Visit Flodden. Walk the walls a Berwick.
Nellies is a homely comfortable cottage ideally located for exploring the Scottish Borders & Northumbrian countryside. River Tweed is a few hundred yards away. Sheila the owner is extremely helpful and lives close by if required. We highly recommend Nellies cottage to explore this part of the UK.
Sheila and Andrew are lovely people who couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was amazing. Lovely cottage in a lovely setting with easy access to explore Scotland and Northumberland.
